Het 58e Eurovisiesongfestival zal worden georganiseerd in Malmö, de meest zuidelijkste stad van Zweden. De arena heet Malmö Arena. Er nemen 39 landen deel, waarvan er 6 uit zichzelf al geplaatst zijn in de finale.

Er zullen twee halve finale's plaatsvinden op dinsdag en donderdag. Nederland en België doen mee aan de eerste halve finale op dinsdag. En de 10 beste landen in elke halve finale gaan naar de finale.

Gastland Zweden staat samen met de landen die het meeste geld aan de EBU betalen, meteen in de finale die zaterdag wordt gehouden. 

Voor het eerst in 9 jaar wist Nederland zich te kwalificeren. Anouk werd 6e in de halve finale, en 9e in de grote finale.

The 58st Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Malmö, the most southern city of Sweden. De venue is called Malmö Arena. 39 countries will compete, 6 are from itself in the final.

There will be 2 semi-finals on Tuesday and Thursday. The Netherlands and Belgium compete in the first semi final. The ten best countries will pass the final.

Hostcountry Sweden will togheter with the countries gave the most money to the EBU in the final. The final will held on Saturday. For the first time in 9 years The Netherlands qualified. Anouk camed 6th in the semi-final, and 9th in the big final.
